AFFIDAVIT OF TEMPORARY CUSTODY

I, MA. CORAZON F. MANDAP, of legal age, married, Filipino citizen, and a

r e s i d e n t o f S a n I s i d r o , S a n S i m o n , P a m p a n g a , after having been
duly sword to in accordance with the law do hereby depose and state;

1. That Christian R. Maniego, 16 years old, son of Melody Maniego has been
living at my residence since March 6, 2020 because he has been kicked
out by his grandparents due to misunderstanding or family issue;

2. That Mr. and Mrs. Rey, the grandparents of Christian are my neighbors
for a long period of time;

3. That I have contact with his mother, Melody Maniego and I offered her
that Christian could stay in our house for a short period of time while
she is not here in the Philippines;
4. For that reason, his mother, Melody is sending me money through
remittance from the United Kingdom (U.K.) to support his financial
needs;
5. That unfortunately, his mother’s flight was cancelled due to pandemic
and according to her, there is still no exact schedule for her flight going
here in the Philippines;
6. That I am struggling now for taking care of him, like washing his clothes,
cook food for him and I cannot give him emotional support because I
have also grandchildren staying here at my house to take care of;
7. I already spoke with his grandparents that I will take him back to them
but they declined;
8. In this regard, I hope this issue will resolve as soon as possible for I am
struggling especially this pandemic crisis, Christian needs a mother to
guide and support him.
