Mirroring Therapy
1. Face in front of a mirror and act out your emotional reactions on the following scenarios or
aspects of your personality:
Answer: I’m happy with the friends that I belong with, because I enjoyed spending time with them knowing
that I’m a very funny and friendly person.
Answer: I’m quite disappointed in my academic performance right now. But I’m still doing my best to pass
this semester and to make my parents and myself proud.
Answer: I’m happy living with my family because we’re safe from the virus and I’m also happy making
memories with them.
Answer: I’m a religious person since I’m an altar server. But I’m slowly losing my faith in God because of
the struggles and challenges that I’ve been through this year.
Answer: I’m still single, but I’m hoping that there’s a person who can love and care of me for whom am I.
Answer: I’m totally fine with my body structure. I eat regularly and do exercises every morning to become
physically fit.
Answer: I always think positive despite of the challenges and traumas that I’ve encountered this year. But I
always make myself happy because “Life is better if you’re always happy”
2. Try to observe yourself and evaluate your emotional reactions. Write down your answers on a
sheet of paper including your answers to the processing questions.
Processing Questions:
1. How did you feel about the activity?
Answer: it’s good to see myself in the mirror because its make me feel better and I’m still smiling after all the
problems I have encountered
Answer: It was difficult, but it became easier because I remember my family and friends
3. Were you able to mirror emotional reactions you had towards the different scenarios in your life and
aspects of your personality? How?
Answer: YES, we can able to mirror emotional reactions to a different scenarios of your personality when one
person feels something that they don’t know what kind of emotional it is or personality that’s the time we will
face our true identity.
Answer: I noticed that I can share my feelings and emotions with my friends, family and my weaknesses is to
make them boring about what I said because they don’t feel about what I feel.
Based on your identified strengths and weaknesses from the previous activity, write your personal development
action plan by copying the Personal Development template below on a sheet of paper. Write your response in
each column about your personal goals and behavior that you would want to stop, minimize, continue, improve
and start. An example has been provided as your guide. On the same paper, write your answers to the
processing questions.
Answer: To attain my personal goals in life, you must work hard and study hard. Also always do what to do
and avoid things that can be a hindrance on reaching your goals.
3. What could be the possible barriers in the achieving your personal goals?
Answer: The possible barriers are distractions such as online games, laziness, thinking negative thoughts,
etc.

Pledge of Commitment
I, Rodrigo D. Javier I, commit to thrive no matter how hard the trials are for the sake of my future. I am going to
face the challenges ahead of me in full courage and determination because I know I can make it through.
Despite all the struggles life has to offer, I will not turn my back on my goals and dreams because they are
worth every troubles and hardship. I will not back down because I am brave not to let my guards fall off. This
too shall pass, I know. So by then, everything will be worth it.
