Code of Ethics of Grade 12 – C (Abraham)

Profile:
Grade 12 – ABM (C) – Abraham is a section that embraces the idea that all students
can learn. Helping other students in studies. These traits can certainly help not only in good
progress in education but can develop their total personality.

Mission:
We, the students in Grade 12 – ABM (C) – Abraham’s class, strive to do our best in
an academic way in all subjects, major and minor. Completing our homework daily and to be
prepared for any academic challenge is one way to make this happen. We will also be
respectful and responsible role models for our school. We will treat others like we would like
to be treated. We pledge to be fair, successful, helpful, and trustworthy. Whatever it takes is
what we, the students, will do. When someone enters our classroom, we would like to see
kind, hardworking, organized and fun students who work together as a team.

Vision:
A classroom climate that fosters thoughtful and respectful consideration of alternatve
viewpoints and idea, personal ownership of learning, and individual construction of
personally meaningful knowledge.

Students:
The School has adopted Student Code of Ethics to promote professional behavior and
academic integrity so as to provide an effective learning environment and to prepare
graduates for careers as professionals. Violations of the Student Code of Ethics will be dealt
with in the same manner as other violations of regulations. Although this Code of Ethics
specifically addresses student behavior, faculty and staff are expected to adhere to the
principles of professional behavior described in this document.

RULES:
 Students must treat others as they want to be treated.
 Students must stay respectfully quiet when others are working, reading or writing.
 Student must use only quiet fidgets that do not distract other people.
 Students must work together and help each other out.
 Students must celebrate each other’s successes, not be a hindrance in order to drag
each other down.
 Students must be responsible for their own actions.
 Students must speak up when there are problems.
 Students must confront problems directly instead of talking behind people’s backs
and causing trouble.
 Students must respect each other’s personal things.
 Students must think carefully about the words they say and when they say them.
 Students must wear the appropriate school attire.
 Students must practice punctuality.
 Students are expected to use appropriate language. No swearing, gestures, and cruel
remarks.

Teachers:
Teachers are molders of youth today. Teachers are considered the second parents of
their pupils. We all know that children don’t have the enough knowledge to determine
which are right and wrong; they still have their young minds which is not capable of
performing more critical duties. Because of “our” young age, “we” are greatly influenced
with those who are in our environment. One of the people who has great influence with
pupils are the teachers. With the number of hours and days that the pupils are in school,
rapport is being built. Because they have a daily influence on the lives of children,
teachers are often held to high standards. In the midst of all of their responsibilities,
they’re required to serve as strong role models and demonstrate ethical behaviors as they
interact with students.
RULES:
 Teachers shall provide professional education services.
 Teachers shall make reasonable effort to protect the student from conditions
harmful to health and safety.
 Teachers shall disclose confidential information about individuals.
 Teachers must take reasonable disciplinary actions in exercising the authority to
prove an atmosphere conductive to learning.
 Teachers shall not falsify or misinterpret records or facts relating to that teacher’s
own qualifications or to other teachers’ qualifications.
 Teachers shall be patient when students are learning new things or having a hard
time to learn.
School:
Among the many ingredients for successful schools is a student body that is not only
eager to learn but also well-behaved. Teachers and school administrators are expected to
serve as role models, and they also have an obligation to ensure that students meet certain
conduct expectations. Code of Ethics in a school is designed to emphasize the importance of
creating a safe, welcoming school environment that support student learning.
 Improper conduct or creating a public disturbance of any kind is prohibited.
 No alcoholic beverages permitted.
 No loitering or vandalism.
 The ethos and traditions of the school should be upheld at all times.
 Respect must be shown for the needs and interests of others.
 If anyone is incapable to show or display discipline, the school must provide the
necessary procedures to enforce discipline.
 There should be no form of intimidation.\
 Theft of School and private property is prohibited.
 Disruptive, unruly, rude and/or offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
 The timeous handing in of work is the responsibility of each learner.
