Gopalganj district is located in the south central part of Bangladesh.

The aim of current

study is to get up to date with the Development of cultural eco-tourism products of
Gopalgonj district. The major objectives of this study are to determine with The
Development of Cultural Eco-tourism Products of Gopalgonj District. And I was
acquainted with those activities and represented those nicely in my report.

I also incorporated a report to find out the tourists satisfaction level in this destination. By
conducting this report I have found the actual scenarios about the existing tourism
product and satisfaction level of tourists with their needs in Gopalgonj tourists place.
Most of the tourists place & tourism products are not well developed in Gopalgonj but its
natural beauty is very nice, it can attract foreign tourists. That is why tourists want to
travel all tourists place of Gopalgonj. So tourists prefer to get an itinerary plan for
Gopalgonj. In case of no itinerary plan many tourists cannot collect exactly information
about travel. This destination earning money is very low that is why it cannot be
developed. 7% of the revenue in Gopalgonj depend on Tourism. Bangladesh's tourist
attractions include historical monuments, resorts, beaches, picnic spots, forests and tribal
people, wildlife of various species. Gopalgonj tourists attraction include in historical
monuments, resorts, picnic spots, river and eco-tourism. With the Ministry of tourism
targeting over 12 % growth rate in in-bound as well as domestic tourists, it has been
projected that tourism sector will generate additional jobs of about thousands of people,
both direct and indirect. Direct employment in hospitality sector will also be substantial.
Employment related to hospitality trades alone would be around thousand. The gathering
in Gopalgonj that hospitality industry needs about thousand of trained persons every year
but the supply is very low persons, As per estimate, by the close of the Plan, efforts to
expand the institutional infrastructure and broad-basing of hospitality education through
Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics and Schools is expected to increase the supply of
trained persons in a major way for Gopalgonj Tourism plan. Central Government, on its
part, has been actively trying to bridge the skilled manpower shortage by setting up more
govt. However, Gopalgonj tourism sector needs to be responsible tourism, which means
that the foot prints of tourists has to be handled in a manner that respects cultural
traditions, and protects fragile eco-systems. Tourism also entails regular conservation
efforts, so that heritage sites are well preserved and maintained. Tourism has greatly
benefited from new technologies. E-tickets and e-bookings have made it more convenient
for international travelers. Visitors are now sharing their experiences on new social media
platforms, creating perceptions about the place that they have visited. Gopalgonj tourism
industry needs to further explore, how new technologies can be used to generate great
interests amongst people, to encourage them to travel, and to do so more conveniently.
Tourism is an important element of promoting understanding between peoples and about
different cultures for Gopalgonj. It promotes people-to-people contacts. Tourism is in
fact, one of the windows of the country to the outside districts of Gopalgonj. Our efforts,
therefore, must be not only to give travelers an idea of what the country is, but also what
it is capable of. Tourist interest in Gopalgonj could translate itself into greater interaction
in other fields, leading to greater business opportunities, collaborations and cultural
exchanges.
I also analyzed the Ecotourism Products of Gopalgonj today against the Cox's Bazar
Beach in case of providing Development of cultural Ecotourism Product of two tourist
spot in my report. In this analysis I have found that Gopalgonj has lot of ecotourism
resource that I describe chapter to chapter. But the development of cultural ecotourism
products of gopalgonj need some spatial care such as Governments support, native people
awareness, awareness about hospitality, awareness about how to preserve & conserve
natural resource, good transportation system, good accommodation system and good food
& beverage system and other things.
In this evaluation I have found that only middle stage people come to visit in Gopalgonj.
All the evidence prove that Gopalgonj has lot of resource but their hospitality supply is
very low. But Govt. support can develop the cultural ecotourism products of Gopalgonj
district.
