Illustration of Activities

This activity is all about creating a system proposal that will handle online

services with corresponding documentation and source code. This activity is consist of

two groups to participate with its own individual members assigned to every parts of the

project to create a system that will manage the online services transactions between

buyers and sellers with the coordination management and security coming from the

administrators and staff members. This activity aims to build a system that will benefit all

the users’ certain needs through the proper use of the system. Furthermore, this system

is made possible with the help of our professors and instructors to maximize the

credibility and efficiency of the said system. Also, this system is based on websites such

as Fiverr, an online marketplace for selling services, greatly inspired and created to be

of use. This activity will also serve as training and experience that will allow us students

to advance our capabilities in terms of teamwork, cooperation, project management and

additional computer studies.

 PART 2

Weekly Diary

WEEK 1:

Today, we were briefed and instruct on what our project will going to be.

Coordinated with new members and a group to create the system with. Topic selection

is performed and brainstorming to future documentation is task to us.

WEEK 2:

We began to create introductions prior to the documentation and interview

related individuals regarding the system to create.

WEEK 3:

Our topic is finalized to be the “Freelance Online Services” which will focus on

the transactions between users that will buy and sell their services in accommodation

and management with staff and admins.

WEEK 4:

The two groups will coordinate with each other according to different task

assigned with each member of the said groups. Documentation and system coding

were handled with members that is most suitable to the part of the project.

WEEK 5:

We’re almost subjected to another task but luckily, parts specified by each

member were handled professionally and willingly.

WEEK 6:

We look up to different kind of sources that will make the foundation of the

system especially the design and functions of the said system such as similar websites
and functions related to Account Management, Online Transaction, Buy and Sell

Services and another possible options for the coding.

WEEK 7:

I almost didn’t move at all within this week regarding with the documentation and

system coding. All I ever did was answer questions from co-members about the system.

WEEK 8:

We were told with many insights from our professors and instructors to further

enhance the credibility and efficiency of the said system.

WEEK 9:

Further knowledge was consumed within this week focusing on career paths,

skills, behaviors, tips and experiences according to the system that we were creating.

WEEK 10:

Week 10 and we’re almost halfway done, I’m confident that we’re ahead from

other teams.

WEEK 11:

Everybody moves, work harder and even more focused. Not all but some were

effectively adding more content to the project.

WEEK 12:

Revisions were to be expected upon this week. Our documentation were already

checked and ready for another checkpoint.

WEEK 13:

Just another lazy week. Coming from me J

WEEK 14:

Sleepless nights for the finalization of documentation, there were tons of papers

but sure it’s worth the experience.

WEEK 15:

Even our documentation seems to be meet revisions a lot, our system is

worthwhile. For the week before the final day, we are sure exhausted.

WEEK 16 (The last day):

Boom! Last week and we’re done. Guess what, we’re the group with the most

improvement at the least.

CHAPTER I

OVERVIEW OF THE PROPOSED AND CURRENT SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION

This system is offering tasks and services as its main source of income. This

system enables users to offer basic services, and different service packages.

This system can help the people to make some money on the side by selling

their services or something that you have capability to do or good at and is it easier to

get a freelance worker and it has many categories to choose for.

The buyers can contact the freelance for transactions and also the buyers are able to

see all the necessary information about the seller. The Buyers will be able to see the

right freelancer who fits their requirements and their budget.

OBJECTIVE OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM

This system proposal aims to and is made for the following purposes:

General objective

The main objective of this system project is to develop the web-based services

outsourcing management system, the objective of this system are the people who want

to find a skilled worker of a professional to help those who are in need for a freelance

worker.

Specific Objective

The proponents of the study specifically aim;

 To have a paperless arrangement for working for somebody.

 To improve the process of getting a freelance worker for specific job

  To spread this system for our fellow county men.

BUSINESS ACTIVITIES

The system serves as an online marketplace and the medium that enables the

transactions and orders made between by the buyers to the sellers. The developers a

percentage from the income of the users. It also supports different payment methods

such as PayPal and Credit Cards.

EXISTING SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

The system has a database that stores information inputted by both the users

and the sellers. It stores information such as the details of the order, the information

about the seller, and the information about the buyer. It also allows the seller to choose

what services they offer and enables the buyers to find the kind of services they are

looking for.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

This study will help the community or business owners in the Philippines. This

system can make it easier and faster to find freelance services to purchase for work or

personal purposes. This system will help the following;

Business Owners – It will be easier for them to find a freelance worker for their

company or businesses.

Community – This system will be helpful not only for business owners, but also for

common people for it is accessible to the public and enables hassle-free transactions

between the sellers and the customers.

Delimitation

This system is limited for those who want to find a freelance worker. The main

focus of the system is to lessen the time for finding a freelance worker and enable them

to receive an alternative source of income.
