This standard specification covers the general dosign requirements of ingle wage overhang, double bearing ‘aulti-stage and high speed internal goar pumps and power recover turbine All equipment covered in this specification shall be designed to operate in a totally unprotected, outdoor environment. Pumps must have stable head/eapacity curves which continuously rise to minimum continuous flow and preferably to shutoff. Oil coolers, with water through the tubes, shall have 5/8" 0.D. 16 BWG tubes, minimum. 2 Inhibited admiralty tubes shall be furnished if fresh water is used for cooling. 4 3. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PUMPS HANDLING FLUIDS CONTAINING HF ACID A.
