Statement of the Problem

Communication in the classroom is an important way to learn languages; including the


participation of both teachers and students. For students learning English as a foreign
language, interaction is very important for us to be good communicators in the target
language. However, at one point, many obstacles came in the way of preventing effective
classroom communication, in our experience; shyness is one of the barriers

Indeed, many psychologists and psychologists argue that communication does not
always take place put for many reasons; including Embarrassment It’s a mental,
emotional thing and a behavioral problem that prevents students from speaking,
participating and expressing themselves ideas and sometimes makes them invisible
within the classroom. (Lund and Ingrid, 2008). Teachers in such situations are expected to
use effective techniques to cover up embarrassment students in class interaction. As
many students suffer from this, role teacher to address the issue and provide students
with an encouraging climate that it helps them feel more at ease and more confident
about working together effectively. Moreover, in order to master a new language,
students need to find opportunities inside in class practice and use that language.

This study is designed to highlight the educational strategies used with second / foreign
language teachers to reunite their shy students in the classroom communication. In this
regard, it tries to shed light on the importance as well the need for classroom interactions
in learning English as a foreign language and practice in the first year LMD students are
very confident during classrooms interaction, in the Department of English at the
university of Bejaia

language teachers to integrate their shy students into classroom communication. In this
regard, it seeks to highlight the importance and need for classroom communication in
learning English as a foreign language and to make first-year LMD students more
confident during class interaction, in the Department of English at the University of Bejaia
