EHS Performance & Improvements – Ensuring safety at work, Electrical &
Fire Safety, Access Equipment Safety & Compliance with Contractor Safety,
reinforcement of program for recognizing hazards & health habits in plants.
Ensure EHS compliance at plant level with coordination with HO safety team.
Enforce implementation and review of JSA. Monitoring of hazardous waste as
per consent.
Quality – Insurance of all quality factors within the unit are in line. With
consistency procedures decided in order to protect and support the brand &
product, application of the CTQ criteria, application of the CAPA for relevant
factory’s complaints. Ensure the execution and consistency of all LM
specifications with zero market complaints for each commodity.
Production – BOR daily monitoring, STO guaranteeing PSI score, coordinating
shipment as per TOC & integrating production planning accordingly.
Monitoring PM, RM, SFG inventory, analysis of the deviation and preparing
OAAP. Achieve the required target of production with the available resources
and analysis of the dynamics of breakdowns. Capacity utilization of personnel
and equipments by cooperation with the persons and proactive maintenance
planning as well as routine system maintenance. Daily production and
breakdown entry in SAP and monitoring of productivity.
Engineering – Determine materials, coordinate, and adjust daily maintenance
plans to meet operational commitments. Accountable for preventive
maintenance of the packaging and manufacturing machines. Train the foreman
in pneumatic machines for making corrective and preventive maintenance for all
the filling lines. Interact with the service engineers for scheduled maintenance of
compressor and DG. Responsible for the ongoing expansion project that
involves installation, maintenance, application of best development practices and
 performance improvement skills. Monitor and ensure daily operation and
logging of utility equipment included air conditioning water tower, oil free
compressor, air handling unit (AHU), compressor, chiller, DG and fire pump.
Critical spares inventory monitoring. Maintaining minimum spares for attending
breakdown and reducing breakdown time.

5S & TPM – Taking charge of housekeeping and carrying out 5s. Improving
safety, quality and productivity through the KAIZEN implementation. OEE
analysis and ensure completion of every action points.
Audits – Handling of EHS audits, PV audits, Quality audits and LM audits, and
prompt compliance of all audit points.

MAJOR INITIATIVES AND KAIZENS

Title 1: “Reduction in wrapper length of Mseal phataphat line.”

Description: Increase the cross section of the die to reduce the putty length resulting in
reduction of wrapper length.

Title 2: “Increase capacity of 100GM packing line by 30%.”

Description: Increase the ability of the machine to run at 80 ppm from 60 ppm by
eliminating minor breakdowns and developing monocartoons of convenient dimensions.

Title 3: “6 sigma project in m seal phataphat flowrap.”

Description :To reduce the % weight give away in phataphat putty by implementing 6 sigma
in phataphat flowrap line which will increase the SFG yield and will result in cost savings.

Title 4: “To reduce manpower in Mseal packing section by engineering

implementation”

Description: To introduce packing conveyor, roller conveyors and extension of the existing
conveyors reducing 4 manpowers per shift and resulting in cost savings.

Title 5: “To increase manpower utilization of fevikwik pouching section”

Description: To Re-layout the IMS pouching machine reducing overall 2 mandays

per shift.

Title 6:“To increase manpower utilization with the help MOST in Extrusion
section”

Description: To Re-layout the extruder machines saving 2 mandays per shift hence
resulting in cost saving.

Title 7: “To reduce manpower in phataphat 25g cartooning line”

Description: To design an auto orienting conveyor to eliminate 1 manpower in the
phataphat cartooning line.

Title 8: “To reduce breakdown in IMS filling machine”

Description: To replace the stainless steel coupling with a love joy aluminium
coupling.

Title 9: “To reduce rejection and rework in Msealphataphat 25g cartooning

machine”

Description: To introduce an addition striker to improve the top flap closure of the
monocartoon in the cartooning machine.
