Historia de la Psicología

Part 1
Autor: Marcelo José Villareal y Aurora Leonor Avendaño
I choose this book because im interested in how the psychology evolve in what we
know now. I read a little bit of this book between the 30 and 50 pages, I don’t read
more because this weeks I have a lot of work to do, the exams arrives and im very
busy with other classes.

Well, in this time I read something about the psychology, a lot of time, years and
centuries ago the psychology was studied or practiced by philosophers, they and
the people don’t consider psychologist (also I think they didn’t know the word
“psychology) but, they have a incredible imagination and incredibles ideas about
the life they asked himself of “what im doing her in this world?” “who I am?” with
this simple questions they came to a lot of conclusions and that how they called
people's attention, the people was interesed in her ideas and they need to know
more and more.

The philosophers in this time provided ideas, books made by them and styles of
learning like Socrates, his tactic to make others learn for themselves was made
questions like “¿El mundo existe porque lo veo? O ¿lo veo porque existe?” (I don’t
know how translate this question and I don’t want to use google) and the people
came into confusion because if they have a close answer, Socrates have another
question to do and the people had a big confusion, sounds funny but that was the
tactic of Socrates.

This book also explain why the psychology was not consider as a science because
only the sages or philosopher was the only practiced the “psychology” but thanks
at the contributions the psicology was evoluting and creating different styles of
learning or parts of the human brain and organs.
Part 2
I read since my bookmark to the page 107, I learn things what I didn’t know and I
knew a lot of philosophers each one with different ideas, one mores crazy than
another or very interesting ideas.

One of philosophers that call my attention was San Agustin, he has very important
ideas and that made me think a lot of myself, he proposed the theory of “the body
is connected with the soul” this theory explain about what happen when you die?.
San Agustin think all humans have a two life, in this two life we have different
personality, hobbies etc, and when we die, everything in our past life comes at our
actual life for example: if my dad or grandpa was a teacher, probably in a future be
a teacher.

Other philosopher named Platon has a different theory whats make me enter in
confusion, Platon have a theory that’s say “we don’t have other life, when we die
our soul disappear and never comeback to another body” Platon breaks totally the
theory of San Agustin.

Why this makes me a confusion? Because I see in a couple of times the theory of
San Agustin, the family of my best friend was in education (Teachers, Directors
etc) and my best friend since was a little child has the dream of be a Kindergarden
teacher and actually was studying education in this case the theory of San agustin
has notoriety because my best friend follow the steps of his family. But in other
side, my family work in health and emergency services (My mom and brother is
nurses, my dad is a firefighter) I have a great influence to choice but I prefer the
psicology, my parents doesn’t like my decision because they want to me study or
work in his career but im not interested, and in this point the theory of platon has
notoriety of the relationship with the soul.
