What standards or LOs were being addressed in the lesson? The lesson is for KG 2C English lesson, the
outcome was,
Students will be able to recognize the uppercase letter J.
Students will be able to recognize and respond to the sound of the letter J at the beginning of a word.
Students will be able to say the J sound.
Outcome: recognize and respond to the sound of the letter.

How did you cater for learners with special needs, and for differentiation? There is no special needs in the
classroom but I did a student’s differentiation during center time,
Master students: if they choose to write letter Jj they will write with worlds, if they choose to draw they will draw
and write what is the picture.
Development students: if they choose to write letter Jj they will write two upper case and lower case, if they choose
to draw something begin with letter j they will draw a picture and write “Jj” with the picture
Emergent students: they will only write letter J upper case, if they choose to draw they will draw only one picture
without names or letters

Next time I will give emergent students more activity to ensure they are can write letter J, for example find an online
game about letters and play it with them to ensure they know the different between letters

How did you use positive reinforcement? Methods? For what? During my lesson, I always give the
students a motivation words for example good job, good girl, I’m proud of you, but in next time I will try
to use class dojo point to make the students more participants in the class so they will feel more excited to
do good during the lesson time, also I told them the class rules “mute yourself. Listen to the teacher, raise
your hand if you want to talk”
How did you sequence or scaffold activities so that they built gradually towards the learning objectives?
Before I gave the students any activity I try first to model for them or explain the activity to ensure the
student on target. And give them more examples and instruction about the activity

Who is the lesson for? The lesson is for KG 2C student’s boys and girls
Where did the lesson take place? The lesson was on Microsoft teams
What were you aiming to achieve in your lesson? My aim Is to educate the students about letter Jj and
make the recognize into the words.
What experiences did you provide to the students to help them to achieve your aims for them? When I
show the students how to write letter Jj I let them write it in their white board and show it to me, and ask
them to read words with letter Jj.

excited when they write letter Jj and show it to the class and say the sound of the letter, they excited
because the fell self-confident

class time, because I tell them the class rules before start the lesson

Every week the students learn about new letter and this week they were learning about letter k, so they are

The students were on target because they able to read words begin with letter j and they know the stound
of the letter j also they can recognize it between words and letters.

What are the implications for your professional practice of helping students to enhance their learning in
this particular way? (i.e. what skill will you have to develop or learn? What professional development will
you have to undertake?)
In the future, I will try to motivate the students more by using class dojo point and try to find some online
games about letters to play it with the students, in this way they will feel more fun during teaching time.
