Beneficiary: Corona & Non Corona Infected Patient
Shan-E-Punjab Association of Nigeria (SPAN) is running
successfully free Ambulance Sewa, which is an initiative by
SABHA – Donated by Kewalram Chanrai Foundation to Indo Eye
Care Foundation for COVID-19 positive patients, for Local and
expatriate, started from week 25, 2020.
This Ambulance is a state of the art fully equipped facility with:-
1. First Aid facility,
2. Provision of life-saving Oxygen support facility,
3. Provision of Medicine as per norms set by Medical
Regulatory body,
4. Dedicated 24x7 Doctors and Nurses with the Ambulance,
5. All the medical equipment and apparatus to handle to take
care of any patient in an emergency condition,
We have helped 32 COVID-19 positive patients so far in the
emergency condition. Patients were picked up from their homes
and provided with the medicine, first aid, Oxygen support as
required, by specialist and fully trained doctors and nurses
dedicated to the Ambulance, The patient was admitted to the
various isolation centres for COVID treatment with the help of
our monitoring team.

Project: Food distribution
Beneficiary: Needy people of Lagos.
The Rajasthani Samaj of Nigeria has always been assisting the
local communities whenever the need arises, Donations
towards Artificial Limb Project, Donation towards Indo Eye Care
Hospital, organizing Blood Donation Camps and other similar
activities.
A program under the name of 9jaRelief (supported by Indian
Community) has been initiated towards providing raw food
packets for families who have been stranded on daily earnings
due to the COVID lock-down. Majority of the beneficiaries are
the people of the family who have been stranded on daily
earnings due to the COVID lock-down. The beneficiaries are
Artisans on Daily Wages, Widows and Single Mothers.
With the support of local Volunteers, 2000 + food packets have
been distributed during the last 4 months. The food packets
contain the raw food items are estimated to serve a family of
four for seven days. However, with practical utilization and
depending on the family size, it lasts for 10 days.
All volunteers are well informed and follow required safety
measures and always use the mask, hand gloves, sanitizers,
1mtr distance etc. Not only food distribution is being done but
awareness about the safety measures for Covid-19 are
explained to all such communities. This 9Ja relief project was
started with an initial target to support 500 food packets
families and with the generous support of the community, we
are, at the date, completed more than 2000 food packets
distribution and targeting to reach 2500-3000 food packets.
We express our sincere gratitude to Ishk Tolaram Foundation
and all other donors.

JULY 2020.
Moderator Sr. Shukla RJ said, “STRONGEST MEMORY IS THE THINNER THAN PAYLESS TALKING”,
hence please, we should note the points to take as Take Away Knowledge Box from this great
webinar. We should not depend on our memory so we should write the main points which we can
refer to in future.
Professor Dr. Sashi Shekhar said No-one knows if this COVID-19 is by Man-made laboratory
originated from Wuhan or by GOD made! But in 12years back, this virus was found in a book. The
great positive philosophers/thinkers say in this pandemic situation that our only biggest earning is
SURVIVAL.
DON’T think of your Jobs, don’t think to accumulate your wealth, and don’t think of your Enemy.
Most important is to show our HUMANITY and to build our strength of body IMMUNITY.
WHEN COVID-19 WILL END?
This was answered by scientifically and astrologically which is almost same. In scientifically, when
1/3rd means 33% of the population became COVID +VE, then COVID will be controlled but not end.
Astrologers forecasting is COVID will be under control after 28th September 2020. Let’s see.
Regarding Symptoms, He said the major symptoms are Fever if more than 2days, Malaga (means
the sense of not doing well), Body ache, Sour throat, Loss of Taste, Loss of smell. Now he found a
new symptom that SKIN PATCHES (red color).
He advised on Intensive treatments for whom suspecting with symptoms to practice as below:
1. To take Chloroquine or Hydro-chloroquine 400mg in morning and evening in Day 1 and 400mg
in day-2, day 3 of 1st week and same to continue over weeks if symptoms there in body.
2. For any features, the patient should take Azithromycin 500mg for 6 days.
3. For pain in the throat, patients should do frequent gargling (3 4times a day) to cure it in 2 to
3days.
4. Frequent Mouth wash, Nose wash in every 2 hrs., Nutrition foods, On-time food, Good sleep
are highly recommended to all COVID patients.
5. Heart patients should not take Chloroquine or Hydro-chloroquine. They will take IVERNECTIN
12mg tab for a week.
6. Cardiology patients will take Doxycycline 100mg in morning and evening, they should not take
milk within 1hr of taking doxycycline.
7. Serious patients if difficult breathing means it may not Pneumonia but Pneumonia by clotting
of blood in the Lungs. They need Disprine and Aspirine70mg per day. Normally Disprine comes
500mg for high-risk patients. All to take Aspirine 70mg. High risky patients must be admitted to
take Oxygen and Betamithazon or Dexamythazon of doses 8mg 3 times daily to save a life.
DR. CHITRA SINHA (MD Gynecologist) spoke well for pregnant women and said no need to fear at
all. If feeling mild fever and temperature is 98.6 in the morning and 99.6at 6 pm then not to worry.
It is not a fever. Must to do gargling as Dr. Shekhar said.
Azithromycin is safe for pregnant women who are having sour throat. Any pregnant women who
have hypertension, jaundice etc. has to be under doctor’s observation.
She explained how to check the oxygen level. Note your Pulse reading 972 to 80) and do 6min walk
then take the reading. If it is too high then consult to doctor.
A pregnant woman can do routine checkups, regular exercise and pranayama. Some exercise at
home are to blow balloons in 3 shots, or take a straw and half glass water to blow to make bubbles,
or take an tissue paper on the mouth and blow it.
DR. Subhash Kumar (MD Pediatrics) said mostly children will not effect on COVID but sometimes it
happens so need to explain them about COVID and train them how to use the mask, hand washing,
& social distancing. These three precautions will make them away from COVID. He advised
keeping Thermometer, Glucometer for Diabetics patient, BP monitoring, Pulse oximeters at home.
We have to sanitize our all used electronics devices and hand tools.
He said, “DEATH IS REALITY & SURVIVAL IS THE ROLE”. So we should stay safe following all
precautions.
