“Himig: An Online Concert and Session for a Cause”

II. General Objectives:

Everyone had been experiencing the stress of being unable to go outside.

Before, one can freely interact with others without the fear of being infected by a virus.
However now, people have to be cautious with everything they do. The possibility of
acquiring the Covid-19 virus is often times unimaginable. People have to be wary of
themselves and others too. One must know and exercise proper hygiene in order to be
safe from the said virus.

Thus, this online concert and session will both give entertainment, inputs and
knowledge, without the fear of being exposed to the virus. The performances will help
the participants experience online concert. With it’s goal of giving enjoyment and fun.
Meanwhile, the session will broaden their knowledge about exercising proper hygiene,
which will help in combating the pandemic. Aside from that, this shall raise funds that
will aid in giving hygiene kits. Since proper hygiene is one of the most important things
these days. This will

IV. Rationale:

The recent pandemic had affected the lives of everyone. A lot of outdoor plans
and activities had been forced to cancelation due to public health restrictions. With
much dismay for everybody, going outside to have fun has been very difficult. It is for us
to protect ourselves and at the same time helps protect others too. This regulation had
been around for months now, mass gatherings had been long prohibited, and others
could not stand it anymore.

Also, aside from staying at home, one of the most important things during this
pandemic is hygiene. The government had encouraged everyone to observe proper
hygiene. Sanitation had been proven to be the most effective actions one can take. This
reduces the spread of pathogens and prevents infections, such as the Covid-19.

Thus, a lot of supposed activities had now been done virtually. Concerts,
meetings, seminars, all of these social gatherings are successfully done online. This
prevents having physical interaction, yet provide knowledge and enjoyment. This will
help in giving entertainment and at the same time information without the need of going
outside.

V. Specific Objectives:

 Entertain the participants through various online performance

 Promotion hygiene awareness to the community
 Raise funds for distribution of hygiene kits

VI. Methodology:

This online concert and session hopes to give entertainment, inputs and
knowledge. However, at the same time raise funds to help in giving hygiene kits. In
order to raise funds, it will have a payment with a certain amount of twenty pesos (20
Php) for the membership. This can be collected through mobile facilities or online
banking for membership fee can be collected from its participants.

This activity shall consist of two parts. First is the online concert, which
composes of presentations from various performers. Second is the session. This part is
where educational lectures about proper hygiene, its contribution and proper execution
and such, shall be discussed. With the funds collected, distribution of hygiene kits shall
be made possible. The hygiene kits can be distributed to areas where it is most needed.
