1.0 PURPOSE:

To ensure operating procedure of Diesel generator, Model: D3512A.

2.0 SCOPE:

All inter Applies to the Generator used for PRAN Dairy Limited of Sub-station areas.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:

3.1 Head of Engineering Division is responsible to ensure that concern maintenance personnel
followed this SOP properly.
3.2 Sectional In-charges is responsible to execute this SOP properly

5.0 PROCEDURE:

 PREPARATION
5.1 Check the radiator water level with coolant level.

5.2 Check the lube oil level as per standard deep scale.
5.3 Check the Fuel Level (at least 50%) from Fuel Service Tank.
5.4 Check the battery voltage (23 to 26 Volt DC).
5.5 Check the Utility leakage.

5.6 Check the Canopy door close.

5.7 Check the Canopy room neat & clean.

 HOW TO START ( At Control Panel):

5.11 Prelubrication pump must be operated manually (Oil pressure 05-10 psi at
EMCP).
5.13 Press “Manual” on the control Touch screen.
5.14 Press Start button.
5.15 Inspect the Jacket water Temp up to 140-150⁰F (At EMCP).
5.16 Raise the Voltage (405-410 Volt AC & Frequency-50 Hz by pressing “Manual Raise
Voltage” & “Manual Raise Speed”.
5.17 Press “Auto” on the control touch screen.
5.18 Touch to the “Hand On Load” position for load applies.
5.19 Go to AC metering screen.

 HOW TO STOP ( At Control Panel):

5.20 Press “Hand OFF Load” at control touch screen
5.21 Ensure Generator load is zero and idle position
5.22 Then press “STOP/OFF” at control touch screen
