High and Middle Brass Embouchure and Mouthpiece Sound

Mouthpiece buzz (Except tuba)

1) Wet lips and mouthpiece.
2) Seal the lips with the syllable “MMM.”
3) Maintaining the “MMM,” add the corner formation as if your are
saying “peaches.”
4) Maintaining the “MMM” and the “peaches” corner formation, set
the center of the lips by add the formation for “prunes.”
5) Buzz away from the mouthpiece (concert F).
6) Repeat and add the mouthpiece.

Siren
1) Away from the mouthpiece, whistle a concert F.
2) Now slowing bend the pitch up to middle Bb and down low Bb.
3) Apply this technique to the mouthpiece sound.
