Dear Students,

Building maintenance management is an important organization in a building. Support


services may be provided from in-house resources, external contractors or a combination of them.
They should fulfill the quality of services and safety of building elements and building services in
the building all the times.

In a group of 4 – 5 students, you are required to choose any relevant building which is managed
systematically in terms of maintenance programs and maintenance budgets to ensure building
occupants/end users are safe and comfortable. You are required to find out all these following:

1) What is the purpose building services in building operation management?


2) What the important factors building services need to be maintain?
3) Whom responsible to maintain the building services operations?
4) What are the building services be provided at your case study?

5) How do they manage the building services in maintenance management activities?

The report is advising to blend an information that gather from any kind of sources/material such as
reference book, articles, journal, magazine, bulletin, proceedings and any others information
medium. The length of the report minimum of 15 pages only. The written format must be used (A4
Paper Size), (Times New Roman), (Font Size Heading: 14; Normal Text: 12) and (Justify). Report
cover in a WHITE colour.

Submission of report and presentation date: WEEK 10 (Late submission will not be accepted).

Presentation: 10%
