Mineral Technologies Pty Ltd has been a leader in Trommel Screen development for over 5 decades. Our
earliest Trommels were primarily used and developed for screening plant feed in our own Mining Operations.
Through this direct operational experience and subsequent experience in operations around the world our
designs now incorporate numerous advances in materials and design. These trommel screens are now
recognised internationally for their operational robustness and screening efficiency.

Mineral Technologies Trommels are designed parametrically incorporating finite element analysis to identify
and address the complex stress profile of these long rotating units. All Trommel barrels undergo thermal
stress relieving to minimise fatigue issues due to the continually reversing dynamic loads.

All Trommels:
• are fitted with proprietary dual purpose Polyurethane Screen panels and integrated Port Protectors.
• have trunnion rollers with a cast polyurethane surface to reduced vibration
• are custom designed to suit individual ore bodies and capital budget based on the life expectancy of
the plant.
