Our Story
Mission

Keap’s mission statement is “We


help small businesses succeed.”

Keap was founded by two


brothers, Scott and Eric
Martineau in Mesa, Arizona, with
now CEO Clate Mask. The
company was then called
Infusionsoft. In 2004, the
company developed a script to
automate sales leads. This
became the foundation of
Infusionsoft’s product range. In
January 2019 the company
became known as Keap. As
Keap, the company now offers a family of products designed to help
customers with small businesses no matter what stage they are in. Keep
going. Keep serving. Keep growing.
Keap uses CRM, sales and marketing tools to help aid you to get more
done and grow your business. It works to help you visualize the future, co-
create plans that align, and declare goals and inspire commitment. Keap
helps you multiply your business by identifying a native genius, giving
ownership and letting go, and inspiring personal growth. By using Keap you
can organize your work, collaborate and efficiently execute, and hit your

Executive Summary

Clate Mask, co-founder and CEO of Keap, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from
Arizona State University in 1996. His education continued at Brigham Young University
where he received his master’s degree in Business Administration and earned a Juris
Doctor degree. Mask’s accomplishments include making The New York Time’s
Bestseller list in June 2010 for his book “Conquer the Chaos: How to Grow a
Successful Small Business Without Going Crazy,” co-written with Scott Martineau. Mask
has contributed articles centered around small business tips for success to the HuffPost
and Entrepreneur.

Mask’s career started at North Sky, a company that provided free web hosting
services. In 2001, he started eNovaSys, a communications solutions company, with
colleagues Scott Martineau and Eric Martineau.
When eNovaSys eventually developed into
Infusionsoft, Mask became CEO of the company.
Infusionsoft has since then merged with Keap.

Mask currently resides in Gilbert, Arizona, with


his wife and their six children. He stays connected
with his customers through active use on his personal
Twitter.

Keap is launching this product to target entertainment industry service providers. Hair stylists,
make-up artists, and wardrobe stylists use social media to help promote their businesses. It’s a
platform for them to showcase their work and reach a large audience. We want to make it easier
for them to boost social media engagement, while running their own business. Most of these
entertainment industry providers work by themselves and it can be difficult to manage all parts
of your business alone.

“We understand that right now it's especially hard for small businesses, especially entertainment
industry service providers, to stay on their feet. We want to help these young entrepreneurs
grow their businesses and grow their brand,” stated Mask.

Due to the harsh times the country is facing, Keap will be offering a 14-day free trial for the

new product page,” I identified the Forbes Small Business Strategy online magazine due to its
readership of 5,000 nationwide. Additionally, I targeted contributor and small business strategist
Gene Marks at this outlet and found he has articles including

Valley Glow Esthetics looking to increase
client base:

Melissa Pippim, an esthetician in Phoenix, Ariz., has


had her business, Valley Glow Esthetics, for over two
years. She was struggling to increase her client base
through traditional marketing and needed help on the
technology side of her business. Pippim came to Keap
for help with improving her website, in hopes that it
would increase the number of potential new clients.

through Valley Glow’s doors, she has since opened a second location in the Valley. The
technology available for her clients has decreased late invoice payments and increased
follow-up return appointments for new and existing clients. The added media elements
to her website have proven to be beneficial during the current pandemic because clients
can stay up to date with blog posts and videos showing what the business is doing to
