Subject : REVISED FLEXIBLE WORK ARRANGEMENT AS REMEDIAL MEASURE
DUE TO THE ON-GOING OUTBREAK OF COVID 19

As a result of our meeting with our Management Committee held last March 12, 2020, the
following guidelines in reference to DOLE Advisory 2020-09, have been adopted effective March 16,
2020 :
GUIDELINES :
1. To ensure safety and well-being of our employees with the on-going outbreak of COVID-19,
Management has decided to apply temporarily a Flexible Work Arrangement ;
2. Employees who may perform functions that can be rendered out of the office are advised to
Work From Home (WFH) pursuant to Section 9 of Republic Act No.11165 or the
“Telecommuting Act” until further notice ;
3. Overtime is not allowed for employees under WFH arrangement unless authorized by their
Manager and duly approved by the Department Head ;
4. Employees who are on WFH arrangement shall ensure that they will accessible, also for online
meetings when needed and should submit reports and/or deliverables required by their
Managers ;
5. For employees who provide 24/7 support and/or those assigned at client’s premises, the
Rotation of Work and/or Skeletal Workforce are applied to reduce workdays in a week ;
Please refer to the Policy on Meals, Transportation and Hazard Pay revised last July 21, 2020.
8. An employee diagnosed with COVID-19 will not be allowed to apply a WFH and Rotation of
Work/Skeletal Workforce. He/she will be required to apply their absence from work as sick
leave ;

9. If an employee is requested to stay at home or to serve a quarantine order for reasons related to
Covid 19, the principle of no work no pay shall apply. The employee’s leave of absence will be
charged to his/her annual sick/vacation leave credits under the company policy.
10. Management shall have the authority to immediately revoke the flexible work arrangements if :
a. The employee failed to meet the required deliverables as agreed with the Department Head
and Manager ;
b. The prevailing health situation is back to normal.
PROCEDURES :
1. Department Head shall decide which positions in their department maybe allowed to apply
any of the Flexible Work Arrangements adopted ;
2. Upon approval of the Department Heads, Managers shall assign deliverables of employees,
and report completed assigned tasks to Department Heads ;
3. Timekeeping shall be manually recorded, for the Work From Home Arrangement. Any
correction or adjustment shall be approved by the respective Managers;
4. Flexible Work Arrangements have been discussed and agreed by the Managers to all
employees.
