Based on my understanding regarding on this topic, the key for the athlete that want to

success instead of good training program is having a good and enough rest. Rest should be
focused on all level of athlete. Not only athlete all people must have enough rest to be more
productive for the next day. The body has a normal tendency to heal, but by doing certain
things the athlete can increase their rate of recovery. Coaches must monitor their athlete
condition before, during and after training. Check their heart rate to know that their heart rate
is the same with the intensity of the training. If their heart rate is out from the radar, the
coaches must check back the training program and can alter the training intensity. Coaches
always keep in touch with the athlete and know their condition, if the athlete has shown early
symptom of overtraining make sure the coaches must give the athlete time to rest. We don’t
want the athlete in overreaching level and above because the tendency for the athlete to get
reversibility is high. We must take an early step before it’s too late. There are many ways to
do recovery like, sport massage, ice bath, thermotherapy and etc. If the athlete want to do an
ice bath every day after training session it’s okay. Also, an ideal time for the athlete to sleep
is about 8-10 hours. If the athlete tend to have anxiety before final game, there are many
ways to settle down this issue which is do a breathing method and meditate to relax the
athlete a day before the D-day.
