types/classifications/categories/ kinds?
Based on the definitions that I researched, the following
definitions are considered as Methodological Critical Thinking. By definition, Methodological Critical Thinking is a type of critical thinking that makes use of understanding and interpretation and application of the scientific. Analyzing the three definitions, all of these are centered on analyzing, solving and conceptualization that are crucial in improving one’s intellectual thinking and standards.
3. How these classifications/types/categories/kinds be applied in
teaching social studies?
Critical thinking enables students and teachers to evaluate their
own thinking about a certain issue. In the field of education, the Methodological Critical Thinking is essential in improving the critical and intellectual knowledge of the students in learning social studies. This type of critical thinking can be applied in teaching social studies to properly evaluate certain issues and also promotes a better historical analysis of an event. In conclusion, this type of critical thinking improves the quality of teaching social studies.
