 Learn about the importance of unknown creatures and how do they survive.
 Make a reflection about those poor defenseless animals that are in danger of extinction.

Introduction:

Our planet Earth is such an especial planet and what make it so wonderful and exclusive is that
contains life. In this tiny world inhabit thousands of species with special capabilities, but also a curious
and important fact is that all the species are indispensable from others creating a lot of different
procedures that maintains with life to everybody like for example the food chains, the carbon cycle,
etc. But in this work we are going to talk about those creatures that almost nobody knows about it
because is so important to learn and care about everybody in order to maintain the balance in our
home.

Procedure:

1. Check your textbook or supporting books.

2. Choose one of the following species for your evidence (examples: the yeti crab [Kiwa hirsuta],
the creole hare [Dolichotis patagonum], the tufted deer [Elaphodus cephalophus], and the
aardvark [Orycteropus afer]).

3. Represent to the chosen species in its habitat and describe its characteristics:

o Types of metabolism

o Adaptation stage

o Stage of growth and reproduction

o Type of irritability and geographical space

4. Look for information about the food chain of that ecosystem (locate at least five links
[organisms] that relate directly to the species chosen and explain the place that the species
occupies in the food chain (e.g. producer, primary, secondary or tertiary consumer).

5. In a clear and complete manner, answer the following according to the chosen species.
Include two bibliographical references in APA format, which will serve as support to answer. 

o Describe the importance of the species in its environment.

o Explain whether climate changes or some environmental aspect threatens their reproduction.

o What impact would humans have if the species disappeared from its habitat?

6. Include a conclusion where you express what you have learned and the usefulness of the word
done.

Conclusion:

It is really important to know a little more of our planet, we literally are killing it little by little. These last
years had a really high temperature killing a lot of animals in different ecosystems the humans as the
most intelligent specie have the responsibility to maintain this place safe for the other species
because everybody is important here somehow, we have to learn about everything in this planet. In
this work I surprise about the specie I select is like before doing the research I only recognize the
name but now that I learn a lot more I imagine all those creatures that need to be discovered and the
impact for our world.
