Această expresie ne arată posesia, proprietatea Ex: Casa prietenei mele este mare.

Possessive case pentru substantive care denumesc ființe/ nume de ființe se

formează:

 Substantiv la singular +’s

Ex: My friend’s house is big.

 Substantivele regulate la plural+’

Ex. The boys’ ball is black.

 Substantivele neregulate la plural +’s

Ex: The men’s pets are dogs.

 Doi posesori- se adauga ’s doar dupa cel de-al doilea substantiv

Ex: Alex and Jane’s mother is a nurse.
