Final Project – My Dream Trip


Objectives: Use all the applications learned throughout the semester in a single project.
Plan a Dream Trip to a destination of your choice including
activities, expenses, lodging, meals, etc. (PRINT BACK TO BACK!!!!)

Plan your Dream Trip using the Planning Worksheet
complete all sections of the planning worksheet including estimated prices for
meals, lodging and entertainment (all trips are 8-10 days) 15
*Your trip must take you more than 4 hours to get to your city!!
*When you plan your trip be sure to save a map of the route you will take and
pictures that relate to your trip—save pics during your search!!

 Write a detailed Description of the Trip you have planned


Minimum Requirements (100 points)

*create a Title Page (pg 1) with your destination, your name and period number
and one picture related to your trip—NOT YOUR map
*must have 2 pages (pg 2-3)(back to back) (max 4 – including title page)
for description of all the details of your trip 30
***total pages of description must be minimum of 3 PAGES
*include a map showing the route to your destination
*include at least four other pictures related to your trip
print the Title Page and description in color (back to back)
font=13 pt (comic sans, times new roman, Calibri, arial)


Prepare an Excel worksheet detailing all Expenses for the Trip
*include estimated costs for each day of your trip
*use formulas to calculate the cost of gas each day ($2.50/gallon)
**use formulas to calculate total expenses for the trip 30
*print (2 printouts) the completed worksheet so that it fits on one page
display the formulas in the worksheet and print again (fit to one page)

 Power Point Presentation of your Dream Trip


using Power Point create a presentation telling all about your trip
include pictures and maps (9 slide minimum) 25
print a handout of your presentation with 6-9 slides per page (2 pages back to
back)
