Corporate Background
ProTrans International, Inc.® was founded in 1993 by Craig Roeder and has experienced tremendous
growth over the past 14 years. ProTrans International’s inspiration was multi-faceted. ProTrans was
able to provide cost savings to our customers’ as we consolidated their freight. During this time,
government talks of a North American Free Trade Agreement became more serious and ProTrans’
attention was drawn to the emerging maquiladora operations along the United States / Mexico border.
Though the company’s initial business plan involved freight consolidation of Midwest suppliers for
delivery through the El Paso corridor, ProTrans’ expansions have allowed us to diversify our services
offerings.

The ProTrans of today has evolved into a very different

company than its younger self. We still rely on providing
quality service and cost savings; however, we now offer
the ability to completely manage our customer’s entire
supply chain. ProTrans is not a transportation company;
but a global logistics provider as shown in the

Security & Quality

ProTrans International, Inc. has acquired the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)
certification under the certification type of United States Licensed Broker. By participating in the C-
TPAT initiative, ProTrans is committed to implement, follow, and maintain procedures and practices
consistent with the C-TPAT Security Criteria enforced by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection
(CBP). In coordination with C-TPAT, ProTrans will receive numerous benefits and ensure a more
secure and expeditious supply chain for our customers. Benefits include a reduced number of CBP
inspections resulting in reduced border delay times.

Additionally, ProTrans has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Standard Certification and has a quality
department dedicated to holding ProTrans’ services to the highest standards to enhance customer
satisfaction. This certification confirms ProTrans International’s logistic services, from design through
delivery, are performed under a certified quality system.

ProTrans recognizes that “real time” and accurate information systems will be the critical components
which separate us from our competition. With this in mind, our web based supply chain system is fully
EDI compliant allowing our clients to manage (both by exception and reporting) their inventory from
purchase order issuance to receipt.

Brokerage & Border Crossing

Customized to fit your needs, ProTrans’ border processing services are tailored to make your crossing
movements as problem-free as possible. Our Brokerage offerings play a vital role in our integrated
model of supply chain management. By combining services to a single-source provider, our customer’s
costs are reduced and we are able to move freight door-to-door. ProTrans realizes that changing
brokers is a significant decision and has an implementation program to allow for a seamless and
painless transition. ProTrans has been granted certification in the Customs-Trade Partnership Against
Terrorism (C-TPAT) program under the certification type of United States Licensed Broker.

Utilizing ProTrans, our customer’s have a

single point of contact for both transportation
and brokerage. Our state-of-the-art facilities
and bar-code label design allow processing to
run smoothly. By allowing ProTrans to
manage your entire supply chain, we are able
to take days our of your freight’s transit by
anticipating your freight before it reaches the
border. Additionally, ProTrans works on an
after-hours business model with second shifts
processing freight while other providers wait
until the following day.

By utilizing ProTrans Maquila Service Permit,

no taxes or duties are owed from Mexican
importation until ProTrans transfers the
materials from our location to yours.

ProTrans has purchased top Customs software and have modified it to work in synch with our existing
proprietary software. Customers are able to find all the necessary information on their freight via our
website, whether it be for Transportation, Warehousing or Brokerage. You can also access a variety of
Brokerage reports and Pedimento detail through www.protrans.com and they can immediately be
downloaded into Microsoft Excel.

Foreign Trade Zone & Bonded Warehouse

ProTrans operates a FTZ in El Paso and San Antonio, Texas. These facilities provide us with special
customs features such as allowing domestic activity involving foreign items to take place prior to formal
customs entry. Our Foreign Trade Zones provide our customers the benefit of duty exemption, duty
deferral and inverted tariffs. ProTrans has also been operating a bonded warehouse in Laredo, Texas
since 2004. ProTrans is in the process of having several other facilities become bonded warehouses.

NVOCC Services
ProTrans International, Inc. is a licensed NVOCC and Ocean Transportation Intermediary (OTI). We
are positioned to handle all aspects of your shipment throughout the supply chain. We offer a full range

Air Freight
As an approved Indirect Air Carriers with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), ProTrans
provides air cargo services to/from every major region in the world including North America, Latin &
South America, Europe, the Far & Middle East, South Africa, the Caribbean, and Australia. ProTrans
will arrange for local drayage and inland transportation to/from the gateway airport to the customer’s
