    Computer – Activity 1

    Letter
    Home
    You get to type a letter home to your parents!
    Instructions

    Here’s what you need to do:

     Find the computer. Is it available?

     Open the laptop

     Find the power button. Turn it on

     Wait for computer to load

     Once loaded, ask an adult for the password

     Locate Microsoft Word. Click twice to open the program

     Click the ‘File’ button at the top of the screen

     Click the ‘Open’ button

     Locate ‘Letter Home’ folder. Ask for help if needed

     Fill in the blanks of your letter!

     Click ‘File’ button


    Activity #1

     Click ‘Save As…’ button

     Type in your name and today’s date

     Click ‘Save’

     Close the document
