SUBJECT Revised Pay Item Subscripts for Item 403 - Metal Structures

In order to ensure uniformity in the application/adoption of the Pay Items of Work to be

used/adopted by those who are involved in the preparation of the Design Plans and Quantities,
Program of Works (POW) and Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) for Infrastructure
Projects Nationwide, the pay item subscripts of Item 403 - Metal Structures as indicated below
have been revised and are hereby prescribed for this purpose.

This revised pay item subscripts shall subsequently form part of the revised 2012 Edition of
the DPWH Standard Specifications for Highways, Bridges and Airports, Volume II; and are
now included in the Project and Contract Management Application (PCMA).

This memorandum shall take effect immediately and shall supersede the Memorandum
