a. While designing or developing a research idea, a novice researcher should keep the
following points in his/her mind.

1. Become familiar with the current evidence. How research is essential to others
2. Research gaps. A researcher needs to know the variables that are covered and those needs
to be covered
3. The outcome of the research. Variables that are monitored during the research and its
impact on a given population
4. Stakeholders. Those who are directly or indirectly involved
5. Broad research impact. Potential for a research project to benefit society  
6. Make a list of the critical key point

1. Start with honest introspection


How have you taken and interested in the chosen topic and its feasibility?
2. Clarify research question and objective
Research questions must be authentic and original, to ensure the reader of the granted application
can easily identify the four “Ws” such as, Who, what, where, and how of your research idea, and
the Objectives must fulfilling the research goals. 
3. Aligned study objective 
It is essential to aligned study objectives according to funding agency goals, and it is the
responsibility of the researcher to choose a funding opportunity that aligns with his or her own
research goals.  
4. Writing a research proposal.
The researcher must review the guidelines for application and should overview the successful
application available at agencies' official website.
