 ADVANTAGES OF MICRO PROCESSOR LOCO

 It will monitor all the control circuit interlocking system.

 In each cab one Display Unit is provided through which

fault is Displayed. This is useful for drivers for quick
trouble shooting.

 Due to less number of relays and interlocks, loco is

trouble free.

 In this loco line failures are recorded. So this record is useful

For maintanence staff to know the fault occurred in the loco.
 SPECIAL FEATURES OF MICRO PROCESSOR DESIGNED BY
MEDHA-654
1.Micro Processor Main Unit is mounted in cab-2 Relay Panle.
 2. CCCPU ( 2amps ) is provided on Main Unit.
 3. Digital Notch Indicator is provided to indicate the position of
notches. NR is removed.
 4. If DJ is tripped for any reason, it should be closed only after 4
seconds. If closed within 4 seconds driver will get ICDJ and
Display Unit will indicate C118. N/C I/L FALL
 5. Loco is provided with modified pantograph.
 6. C118 Electro magnetic contactor is provided.
 7. Driver cab has made spacious .
 8. Improved seat design. Seats are having rotational movement.
 9. Wipers with water sprinklers provided for effective cleaning of
look out glasses.
 10. Side lockers of both cabs are converted into front lockers.
