A report on

The Pandemic Center

Situation:

The recent situation of corona in Dockland is increasing day by day. So

in this situation the effected person need a place for isolation. So in this
situation the pandemic center is necessary.

Big idea:

In dockland the corona infected patient is increasing day by day so the

idea of a pandemic center is very good .as a result the number can be
decreased. Our big idea Is to deliver quality product so that we can
enter high end market with this project

Core Issue:

The main core issue of this project is our lack of experience of such big
project. Another problem is due to this corona there can be lack of
workers.

Plan of action:

To execute the project, we are planning on dividing the work within 3

segments. We are deciding to follow the agile method.

Detailed description:

Initiation: first of all we have to know the need, that we discussed

above we should provide proper sanitation machinery with other
infrastructures the main issue of this project is lack of workers and their
health issue. For this problem we can hire some external worker and
give them proper protection. As it is our first high profile project with
this project we can attract more high profile customer.
Planning

We are r dividing the whole project in 5 stages according to the project

life cycle.

Project initiation:

The project of “the pandemic center” is given to our company. The

project consist of the provision of IT facilities for marketing and
booking, TV and telephone provision for conference and activity halls,
CCTV and appropriate IT facilities in meeting and conference halls.

The scope of this project is , our deliverable is the IT facility, the project
constrain is lack of workers due to the pandemic. The project will
complete within 18 months and it will cost £ 1,250,000.oo

Project planning:

We are planning to follow the agile project management method. This

method mainly focuses on cross functional team work. It helps to
complete the project at a rapid pace. In this method the verticality of a
team is maintained. As it is a customer centric project, the priorities can
be changed. If any changes happen then the team can easily be
informed and the probability of miscommunication decreased.

As we r following Agile method we will arrange a tour for our client to

show the work progress every two month after.
The first and foremost duty of our team will be to complete the project
according to client’s requirement.

We will involve the customer in all stages of the project as a result

during the development process the team members can be certain that
our final work fulfill all the requirements of the client.

We will ensure that if our client wants something more in the future
product then my team member will ensure to deliver a quality work to
them.

We are dividing the whole task into 3 sections. Ready set and go

Ready: here we will decide what plan to follow, how to do the work ,
what time will needed etc

Set: in this part after confirming from the client we will set everything
to start the work

Go: here we will start working. Continuously collaborating with the

client and work according to their requirement.

As I am the project manager my duties are:

1. as a project supervisor I will have to keep an eye on each angle of a

project and check if everything is going concurring to the plan. Without
having a good teamwork it is not possible to have a good project
integration.to be successful my team member should know their role
and their responsibilities. It is my duty to make the project goal clear
and to complete the project successful I need to manage the inter-
dependencies effectively. That’s why I am focusing on the big picture
and will follow the agile method so that I can keep an eye on obstacles
and can tackle them as soon as possible so that the problem do not
gets out of the hand.

2. scope crawl and need of legitimate scope report is one of the most
reasons behind project failure. Moreover, characterizing and achieving
all the work come s beneath scope management. The team has to be
up to date about the problem that the project will face and will have to
solve them. It will make easier for the team members to achieve the
goals and also help the clients in knowing what to anticipate from the
project. There are five sub-processes that is involved in the project
scope management.

 The requirement of our client will be collected

 There will be a defined description of the project and the planning
that we r doing to fulfill the project.
 We are dividing the work into three sections. Ready, set and go
 Getting acceptance of the project’s product from our client
 Controlling the scope that is the difference between the actual
and the approved scope

3. time management is one of the biggest challenge that has to be

faced big projects like this. There are six sub-process associated with
the time management

 The activities of the project will be well defined

 There will be sequence activities
 The estimation of the resource will be done
 The estimation of the time will also be done
 A schedule will be done
 The schedule will be well controlled
4. cost management is another challenging thing to do. Cost
management can make a difference whether the project will be
successful or it will fail to fulfill its goal. Many project rejected due to
this limitation of budget. there are three main sub-processes

 Estimating costs
 Determining budget
 Controlling cost

5.

Project execution:

We are assuming to start work with conference halls then meeting

rooms then rooms for isolation and then marketing and booking.

There are 3 conference rooms. There will be needed 6 CCTV 2 for each,
3 TVs, 3projectors, 3 sound systems.

5 meeting rooms so there will be 5 CCTVs, 5 TVS, 5 projectors, 5

telephones.

There will be 20 rooms for patient so there will be 20 TVs and 20

phones and 20 remote control bells.

In the reception area there will be 3 telephones, 2 CCTVs to collaborate

with our client we will use pobuca connect.

Contingency:
There will be three contingency

1. if we fail to complete this within 18 months then we will hire extra

workers
