Help! The entire weekend was a food and drink marathon! Again … Before we
dare to use the scales next time, we have to shed a few pounds. But how?

To shed the pounds, we do the craziest things to ourselves. The worst: we torture
each other and it doesn’t even help! Because with these wild weight loss tips, in the
best case, we will lose weight in the short term — but will have the lost pounds back
on within a ver y short time.

1. We completely avoid carbohydrates and eat eggs and meat in the


morning, at noon and in the evening.
Lose Weight On A Low Carb Diet? That seems to be the holy grail right now! Bread,
pasta or even sweets are the enemy. Meat, fish and eggs are the only allies in the
fight against the lifebuoys. And so we torment our way through mountains of
steaks, tr y all the egg dishes and lose weight! Not for ver y long, however, because
ver y few people are happy with this type of diet. Sooner or later the cravings come
with Karacho and we throw ourselves in for pizza, french fries and bread. That’s it
with low carb …
2. We feed on baby food.
Stars like Jennifer Aniston lead the way, we do it. In order not to overeat, we sneak
into the toddler section of the drugstore and stock up on glasses. Pasta with carrots,
delicious beef with potatoes and peas — pureed beyond recognition. It goes without
saying that we can’t keep up this diet for long.

3. We drink lukewarm apple cider vinegar before eating.


Before ever y meal, a glass of lukewarm apple cider vinegar and fat burning is
boosted. We cling to this thought as we torture sip by sip while holding our noses.
Unfortunately, from a scientific point of view there is nothing to this theor y.

4. We don’t eat anything after 3 p.m. and in the evening we are


unbearable — because we are hungry.
Eating in the evening is said to make you fat and that’s why we skip dinner. Are
terribly hungr y and get up sometime during the night to raid the refrigerator. It
would have been enough if we hadn’t eaten anything after 7 p.m. and had done
without chocolate and chips.

5. We eat cabbage soup until the gas becomes unbearable.


Ever y year the cabbage soup makes its grand entrance. We spoon it plate by plate,
although it tastes terrible and it gives us stomach ache. And the pounds lost —
they’re back on two weeks after the diet was stopped.

6. We only eat with chopsticks.


If you are not a regular guest at the Chinese restaurant around the corner, most
people find it difficult to eat with chopsticks. Perfect for using this handicap to lose
weight. Anyone who has ever tried to eat chips with chopsticks knows what we’re
talking about. It’s just a shame that at some point you will become an expert in
using chopsticks …

7. We only eat while standing.


Anyone who eats while standing does not start. Accordingly, we spoon muesli and
soup standing up, always making a mess — without losing weight. Because in the
end, all that counts is how many calories we ate throughout the day — not whether
we sat or stood.

8. We start smoking or we don’t stop gaining weight because of fear.


Nicotine stimulates the metabolism — unfortunately that’s actually true. What is
fatal is that for precisely this reason some people start smoking or refuse to give up
butts. Smoking is and remains unhealthy!

9. We spoon coconut oil.


Model Miranda Kerr eats four teaspoons of coconut oil ever y day — and this is
exactly the trick intended to help her stay lean. Apparently the oil makes you feel
full. This trick can’t do any harm, but it doesn’t really help either.

10. We mist ourselves with the scent of vanilla until we feel dizzy.
Vanilla scent is said to prevent cravings. It’s great that there are deodorants,
perfumes, scented candles, incense sticks and tea with vanilla! We cloud ourselves
and our environment and in the end we reach for chocolate. But tomorrow the trick
will definitely work!

Girls, cut out the bullshit!


Why are you doing this to yourself? Stop this crap! Either settle for your figure,
stand by your cur ves, because they are beautiful! Or do something about it, but
then please in a sensible way. If you want to lose weight, you have to take in fewer
calories with food than you consume.

Change your diet and prefer low-calorie, nutrient-dense foods like vegetables,
fruits, lean dair y products, and whole grains. Sweets, chips and fast food are okay
too, but not ever y day and only in small quantities. If you do this regularly, the
pounds will disappear on their own. Slowly and in such a way that you keep your
desired weight long-term.
