UNP ON THE CARE OF PREGNANT WOMEN DURING LABOR, DELIVERY AND IMMEDIATE

General Problem

The researchers aim to assess the perceptions of Level II, III, and IV Nursing Students of UNP on

the care of pregnant women during labor, delivery and immediate postpartum care.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of:

a) sex;

b) year level;

c) type of Student; and

d) place of residence

2. What is the perceptions of the respondents in assisting the pregnant women during:

a) labor;

b) delivery; and

c) immediate postpartum care


3. Is there a significant relationship between the personal related factors and the perceptions of the

respondents?

PROBLEM 2. What are the knowledge and attitudes of nursing students towards the prevention

and management of Hypertension?

TITLE OF RESEARCH: A STUDY ON KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES OF NURSING

STUDENTS OF UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN PHILIPPINES TOWARDS THE PREVENTION

AND MANAGEMENT OF HYPERTENSION.

General Problem

The researchers aim to assess the level of knowledge and attitudes of Nursing Students of

University of Northern Philippines towards preventive measures of high blood pressure.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of the following?

a) Age;

b) Sex;

c) Weight;

d) Height

e) Normal BP

2. What are the characteristics of the respondents in terms of the following?

a) Smoking;

b) Alcohol;

c) BMI

3. What is the level of knowledge of the respondents in terms of:

a) Definition and source of information;

b) Causes of high blood pressure;


c) Effect of high blood pressure on health;

d) Preventive measures against high blood pressure?

4. What are the attitudes of nursing students on preventive measures of hypertension?

5. Is there a significant relationship between the profile of the respondents and the level of

knowledge and attitudes in prevention of hypertension?

6. Is there a significant relationship between the characteristics of the respondents and the level of

knowledge and attitudes in prevention of hypertension?

PSYCHOLOGICAL IMPACT OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC TO NURSING STUDENTS

General Problem

The researchers aim to assess the psychological impacts of COVID-19 on Nursing Students of

University of Northern Philippines as well as to formulate and execute effective interventions and

strategies to mitigate the mental health of people at large.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What are the personal related factors of the Nursing students in terms of:

a) Sex

b) Age

c) Year level

d) Place of residence

2. What are the psychological impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic on Nursing Students of UNP in

terms of:

a) Daily life

b) Academic performance
c) Mental health

3. What are the possible interventions and strategies to mitigate the mental health of the nursing

students of University of Northern Philippines?

4. Is there a significant relationship between the personal related factors and the psychological

impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic on Nursing Students?
