Terrorism:

Terrorism is the act whose objective is to spread violence and to create terror in the specific
community or the world order (Sönmez & Sönmez, 2017). Terrorism is a tactic or a strategy
which has been used to achieve a specific end.

Difference between Terrorism and Guerrilla Warfare:

There are several differences between the terrorism and in the Guerrilla warfare. In the
terrorism, it can be termed as the global terror which has no boundaries. However, in the
guerrilla warfare, it is done in the specific area by a specific group. In terrorism, there is no
chance of having the military or political seizure of the power. However, in the case of
Guerrilla warfare, there is always a possibility of military and political seizure of power.

Terrorism Act in the United States:

The primary law which has been established in the United States is known as the “PATRIOT
ACT” which was passed in 2001 to improve the abilities of the Law enforcement to detect
and to eliminate the terrorism (Sönmez & Sönmez, 2017). The Act was modified in the year
2015 as the law is considering as controversial.

Types of Terrorism:

There are few types of terrorism which are as follows:

1. Civil Disorder
2. Political Based terrorism
3. Non-Political Terrorism
4. Religious Terrorism
5. State-sponsored Terrorism

Solutions for terrorism:

1. By stopping the militant groups which exist


2. By supporting the independent economic Development
3. By restricting the funding of the terrorist groups
4. By helping the person who is in need or support.
