1 GENERAL

1.1 Plate shall conform to the requirements of relevant material specification

referred in the enquiry / order.

2 ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Plates shall also meet the following requirements in addition to the

requirements of material specification.

2.1 Plates shall be in solution annealed,pickled and passivated condition

2.2 Plate Hardness shall not be less than 220 BHN

2.3 Plates shall comply to the Chevron spec Doc. No. CPM-SU-5013-E

2.4 Plates shall be hot rolled and shall have no.1 finish on both sides.

2.5 Plates having thickness 16mm and above shall be 100% ultrasonically tested (UST)
as per SA-578 with acceptance standard as per Level B.

2.6 Material test reports including a statement concerning fine grain practice and a definition of
all heat treatments and non-destructive examinations shall be stamped to permit
raceability to the corresponding forging.

2.7 Inspection :As specified in Enquiry / Purchase Order.

2.8 Marking: As per Material Specification .Additionally BGR Purchase Order

Number shall be marked on each plate.

2.9 Material Certifications shall meet the requirements of EN 10204 Type 3.1.
