    1. Write the words in the correct column and underline the target sounds. Then listen to the MP3 (3a) and
    practice saying the words.

    2. Write the correct number above the words in blue. Does the word contain the sound 1 /aɪ/ or 2 /ɪ/?
    Listen to the MP3 (3b) and write which sound you hear. Underline the part of the word with this sound.

    I once visited a beautiful Greek island called Corfu. It was an amazing experience. The food was delicious;

    the people were nice and kind; and the scenery was incredible. The beaches were covered in soft white sand

    and the sea was a beautiful clear blue. When I have time, I wish to visit Corfu again.
