Flag of the Dominican Republic:

The Dominican flag, also called the tricolor flag, is made up of the colors red,
blue and white. A white cross divides it into 4 rectangles, at the top, blue (on
the side of the flagpole) and red; and below, red (on the side of the flagpole)
and blue.
Vermilion red represents the blood shed by patriots in the struggle for
independence; Ultramarine blue represents the sky that covers the Homeland,
that God protects the Dominican nation and the ideals of progress of the
Dominicans; and the white represents peace and unity among all Dominicans.
