Mona Eltahawy reveals aberrations present in the world of politics. Ms.Eltahawy uses
adjectives and proven information to convince the reader that modern politicians are white
supremacists and racists towards African Americans and Mexicans. The text talks about how the
US has Politicians that are uneven in fairness to people who are from Mexico or afro Americans.
She gives out examples of how once Mike Pence was visiting a concentration camp where brown
people were kept in cages. They were asking for showers and to brush their teeth to the press
cameras. They have shut down 90 seconds after. The guards were wearing face masks from the
smelliness of the prisoners. He blamed the Democrats for this. Throughout the rest of the article,
Trump talks about how Mexico sends the worst of their people. He mentions how they are only
criminals and drug dealers that come and pollute their country. Further, into the article, he
mentions Black African Americans and how savage they are. Ms.Eltahawy also states that these
Mexicans and African Americans are here to abuse and hurt the White women of America. By
putting them into cages trump thinks is the best way to contain this racial issue. Politicians in the
united states manipulate the white population into thinking that outer races are bad news and
should be looked down upon in a negative way.

Ms.Eltahawy gives out information on how Trump reacted to a shooting in a university in

Iowa. Trump accused the Mexican to killing the young woman. Trump and Mexican don’t sound
right. This led Trump to judge the Mexican unfairly. For example, Ms.Eltahawy said, “When an
undocumented immigrant was charged with the murder of the University of Iowa college student
Mollie Tibbetts in 2018, Trump and his Republican allies were quick to co-opt the crime.”. “You
heard about today with the illegal alien coming in very sadly from Mexico,” Trump told a rally
in West Virginia. “And you saw what happened to that incredible beautiful young woman.”
Members of the Tibbetts family denounced the use of their dead relative for racist
fearmongering. Ms.Eltahawy’s quote proves how trump is basing himself on white people. He
prioritizes white people first before anyone. He is trying to prove to real white people that he is
part of the white community and as he said Aliens are not part of his world and should be
punished and be looked down upon in a bad view.
 Ms.Eltahawy also leans upon how nowadays politicians are being racist in an uncanny
way where no one can see that he is superficially racist. “But White women have heard and
bought the fear-mongering. Last year, when a White woman in California was filmed racially
abusing Mexican-American landscaper Esteban Guzman, she echoed back Trump’s exact words
when Guzman asked her why she hated him. “Because you’re Mexicans… rapists. And
animals… Drug dealers,” she said” As you can see, Eltahawy is trying to popularize the
statement that Esteban Guzman’s wife has pronounced. She says that America has been ruined
by their new president and now there is no way to live it on by not getting abused verbally or
being accused of something that any different race other than white has done.

Ms.Eltahawy goes deep into the fact that politicians are blaming the primary owner
countries such as Mexico and Africa by saying that they bring only criminals and people who
look like them. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best… They’re sending
people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing
drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists” As nowadays people say, don’t judge a book by
its cover. But American politicians don’t follow the rules and judge them on how one mixed-race
person committed a crime which led white supremacists to think that the whole race is criminals.

Overall, Ms.Eltahawy proves that trump and his allied politicians are racist and white
supremacists. The judge on how one person has committed an accidental crime, which led on to
believe that a whole race is made to be criminals. As followers of the united states’ nature,
Trump and the Trump administration supporters abide by what trump releases about how these
mixed cultures and races act upon events. This is how politicians are plugging in false
information in an indirect way but proves them by confusing them in a direct way.
