Introduction
Sunway int’l business college proudly announce the opening of registration to
the Sunway Inter College Futsal tournament 2020 with the collaboration with
Sunway Events & Sports Club and Momento Concern Awards &
Promotional Giveaways from September 20, 2020 at Shantinagar futsal from
8:00 a.m. onwards has been started successfully and all the participants seems
very dedicated to win the tournament.

This competition is being held for establishing close relationship and

communications among students, teacher and other staff members within the
Sunway family and respected college members and teacher who participate in
the event and promoting extracurricular activities among the students along with
quality education.

The main objectives of the Sunway Inter College Futsal Tournament are to
promote sports, healthy lifestyles, promoting unity and most importantly lead to
higher productivity.

The event was organized with qualified referees from Kathmandu District
Football Association (KDFA) and support of medical teams from Kantipur
Hospital to ensure the smooth running of the tournament.

In order for us to achieve our vision, we are working in a unit together to

create an exciting Futsal Tournament and at the same time bringing out the
talents from each and every person involved.

 Objective

The main objective of this event id to provide opportunities and the exposure
to students about futsal in depth. When they get to experience on how to
handle a futsal tournament, they will understand about futsal in better way.
They will be able to have clear idea on the rules and regulations.
Furthermore, organizing these types of events will help students to sharp
their knowledge of planning, organizing and managing as well. It will help
them to be united in one piece and showcase skills about playing futsal
beside study. This type of tournament will help student for refreshment from
their study load. It will help student to power up new level of energy and
excitement to do creative work as well.
 Benefits and weakness
Benefits

 Organizers got chance to experience event management skills.

 It was good for the refreshment purpose for participants.
 It increased interaction between participants.
 It helped in improving the mental and physical health of our participants.
 Improves player’s decision making skills.
 Develops the confidence in players to go 1vs 1 against their opponent.

Weakness

 Management of crowd was not handled properly.

 Players were not at time.
 Sound management was not good.
 Result

Team P won the tournament, Team V became Second and Team R became
third. Mr. Manoj Shrestha became the best player of the tournament from Team
P as he scored 9 goals and 5 assist and Mr. Manish Rai became the best
Goalkeeper from the same team during the tournament. Then, the prize was
distributed respectively.

Conclusion
In conclusion, Sunway Inter College Futsal tournament 2020 was organized
successfully. Beside the coursework it also helps student to showcase the talents
and skill hidden inside them. This tournament also provides opportunity to
student to work in a team and communicate with other and do their best. We’ll
definitely improve our weaknesses in the upcoming events and will be
organizing some great events in the future too. We believe our every
participants and students had a great time in the tournament. We promise to
organize these types of event in the future.
