 INTRODUCTION

We student of Second semester studying BCS at Sunway International School

organized one day Intra college Singles badminton tournament.
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it
may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are “singles" (with one
player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side).
This tournament was held on 12th June 2021 at Brother’s Futsal and Badminton Court located at
Narayntar, Kathmandu.
We provided breakfast and energetic drinks to the players and coaches for free. Additionally,
Winners were given Medals and certificate. Moreover, every participant was provided certificate
of participation and also got opportunity to meet some National level badminton coaches who
guided them on Badminton game and talked about different opportunity.

VISION, MISSION & OBJECTIVE

Mission:
The mission of this organization is to provide the opportunity for students to play badminton, to
develop and improve their skills, and to strengthen their skills to compete with inter college
Badminton Tournament

Vision:
To inspire, promote, govern and develop exceptional Badminton experiences among the student
of Sunway International Business School.

Objectives:
• To more about this sport
• To select the best player who will represent our college in future inter college Badminton
Tournament
• To create sport friendly environment at our college

BENEFITS
➢ We got chance to understand the rules and regulation of badminton
➢ We got chance to organize such a big tournament of 100 people
➢ We got to know all of the student whom we didn’t know before
➢ We got chance to develop leadership ability.
➢ We got chance to promote badminton game among the students of Sunway.
➢ We got chance to work with Sunway Event and sports Club closely to organize the
tournament

WEAKNESS
➢ We couldn’t get volunteer at the instant time when we needed.
➢ Some of the players arrived late and showed their personal problems.
➢ Referee couldn’t perform well and made some player confused.
➢ We couldn’t manage Toke of Love for our Guest Coach.
➢ Our ordered amount of water didn’t arrive on time.

RESULT

100 People played the game from which 60 were boys and Forty were girls. From where, five
from girls and Five from Boys got selected for Final round on the basis of highest Points. Then,
they played with each other and finally the winner was selected.
Raj Kumar Tamang (From first semester) were winner from boys’ side whereas Jagriti Srivastav
(from 5th semester) were winner of Girls side. They were declared champion of the game and
were awarded trophy and Medals.

CONCLUSION
Everything went well. We efficiently organized the tournament and participate also performed
well.
We are glad that Sunway Event and Sports club supported us to organize the event as it was our
first event. Volunteer also performed well. Overall, it was a great experience for us to organize
such a big tournament
