Joined a team of well-established cybersecurity industry professionals to pilot a new federal compliance services program.
My responsibilities were the groundwork of the program, which meant managing the full sales cycle of federal compliance.
From generating leads, converting them, and then managing the projects, I secured the first ever commercial clients for a
20+ year established cybersecurity firm. Lead the management of services for the various engagements by using agile
methodologies and continuous follow up in order to ensure quality control and client satisfaction. Quickly achieved a high-
level working understanding of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), NIST SP 800-171, and NIST SP
800-161, which were the compliance standards our team offered services around. Created over 30 unique introductory
scripts, specialized for LinkedIn, email, and phone calls. To manage the sales cycle, I leveraged GovWin to conduct lead
generation, and then tracked and developed the relationships through the use of Salesforce.

Fortified Services Inc. (FSI) June 2018 – September 2019

Under the supervision of the Chief Information Security Officer, this internship offered me the opportunity to explore the
relationship between technical expertise and people skills. My project focused on the recruitment of transitioning military
and veterans with a cybersecurity background. I managed the integration of job recruiting services in addition to
understanding the principles of network security, threat analysis, and vulnerability testing. Recruiting duties included
managing a team of IT recruiters, translating civilian job descriptions to military skills, and working with headhunting
services such as Bradley-Morris.
