Day 1 Learning: -

In the first day I foremostly were able to learn the important role Human Resource plays a
pivotal role in the development of the organization as well as the development of the country.
Additionally, I also came to learn that Human resources is always one of the essential strategic
partners of any business irrespective of their business field, business strategy and their field of
operation. Moreover, I also came to learn how human resources can be developed much further
and more strategically for the betterment of the individual organization and country as well. The
e-convention also helped me to learn how the human resources can be imbued into specific
organization culture so that the employees feel an emotional attachment to the organization and
can adapt with the organization so that they can help the organization to achieve its mission and
vision. It was also conveyed that employee engagement; healthy competition plays a significant
role for the prosperity of the organization. I could also learn about the most valuable role of
human resource which is to keep the employee engaged and productive in the organization. It is
also important for the organization to motivate the employee by providing both financial and
non-financial benefits. Furthermore, I could also learn the importance of diversity and gender
equality in the aspect of human resource from the perspective of the organization for attaining
competitive advantages. It was also evident that not only geographical diversity and gender
equality but skill diversity plays an important role to battle various challenges for the specific
organization as well. Moreover, I could as well learn that in case of human resource the
organization need to prioritize the welfare of the employees above all since the welfare of the
employees will ultimately result in the welfare of the organization in the long run. Besides this I
also learned human resources role has come to surface for many organizations such as
interdependency within the organization for the booming of the organization. The organization
realized the actual importance of human resource which not only focuses on human but also how
the human resources can be collaborated within organization in respective departments. However
only having efficient human resources in not sufficient but they also need to have an efficient
and empathetic leader, the organization n must also give emphasis in building teams and give
emphasis on teamwork. I could also learn about the important role that human resource in the
organization as well. Without the human resource and its activities no organization can perform
to its optimum capacity since it is the human or people in the organization that works for the
prosperity of the organization. I also came to learn about disruption in the business model and
how it is affecting the business, organization, and ultimately the country. Disruption in the
business can be an advantageous for the organization but it can also be a disadvantage for the
organization if not handled properly. If the disruption in the business properly handled it can be a
blessing and bring prosperity for the organization. With the disruption in the business the
dimension in the business has changed as well. Therefore, it is essential to look for new business
process which includes collaborative nature instead of individual nature. Any disruption is in
precedented but if the disruption in the business is not handled well, if the initiatives taken to
overcome the disruption is delayed it can be proved unfavorable for the organization and the
company may run out of business eventually. Innovation plays an important role overcome
disruption in the business and helps the organization to thrive. Additionally, to battle disruption
in the business besides innovation an appropriate purpose is also necessary without which it is
impossible to handle the disruption in the business. However, the on-demand and personalized
service can an intelligent way to battle disruption in the business for the sustainability of the
organization. Another way to battle the situation is to empower the employees so that they can
take their own decision with the fundamental frame of the organization for the success of the
organization. More importantly all the specific departments of the organization must work hand
in hand to battle the situation out. For this the organization must focus on future oriented
problem solving and develop creative future scenario planning. Necessarily the organization will
also need to have successful innovation backed by innovative process and motivated people and
most importantly all this should be in accordance with the organization culture. Furthermore, the
organization must have creativity and passion to develop new business idea backed by a detailed
business plan to fulfill organization’s vision. With proper digitalization, a global and diversified
business team is also necessary to fight disruption in the business.
Day 2 Learning: -

During the second day of National HR E-Convention I learned that though previously HR
manager/chief of HR played an important role in the organization but now a day’s automation
and technology plays in any organization in the present scenario. It is also helping in the boom of
business as well. Firstly, I came to learn about the importance of leadership in human resource
and how it plays an important role in the prosperity of the organization. I also came to learn
about the qualities of a competent leader that is necessarily have to be in a leader for becoming a
role model for others. Secondly, I came to learn how to become a good leader and inspire others
positively. It is also necessary for a leader to enable others to act as per the organizations
structure and also encourage the others to come forward and help others if one can. Thirdly,
teamwork is also important in the organization for its success. But the teamwork also needs to be
coordinated for the development of the organization, if the teamwork is not coordinated properly
then it is of no use at all. So most importantly team work needs to work out in a coordinated way
to have its benefit. I could also learn what a good leader should not do to be a successful leader.
Such as taking credit for what others have done, not congratulating other for their achievement,
good works, positive attitude. Proper training and inspiring the people is also a good criterion for
a good leader. Listening to what other say is also necessary in order to become a good leader. It
is also necessary to reward peoples work so that they feel motivated to work more. Additionally,
it is also important to provide positive feedback to the team to motivate them and bring out their
best in work. Furthermore, I could also learn about the gender role and challenges during
COVID-19 pandemic. In this pandemic many of the women lost their jobs and moved to rural
areas as well. Few of the low earning women were paid less and many women received less
compared to their work mostly garment working women. Both man and women are suffering
from the pandemic but it is observed that it is women who are suffering more compared to men
whether ne a job holder or garment worker. Moreover, the workload has increased exponentially
for the women. I also came to learn how to reduce or eliminate the problem regarding the
working women in various ways. The significant solution for the problem is entrepreneurship
activity for the women. Another solution is restarting the livelihood of skilled artists by
providing them an online business platform. It also includes providing them proper learning and
funding as well. Moreover, I could also learn to equalize regarding gender imbalance the human
resource department should reconsider their human resource guideline in order to lessen the
stress of workload on the women and they can perform their best. Next, I came to know about
the necessity of team for attaining excellence in competitive advantages, how HR can contribute
to team building in an organization, what should HR professional do differently in building
teams. Moreover, I could learn how a team can be a successful by implementing several
beneficiary points and Human Resource department can lay that role by combining tasks, role,
leadership, resources commitment etc. The HR should also keep in mind that the steps taken to
build a great team should be action oriented, people oriented and thought oriented.

Day 3 Learning: -

During the concluding day of National HR E-Convention I learned the importance of HR for
combatting challenges. I was also able to learn the importance of emotional intelligence for
organizational excellence. Additionally, I learned the necessity of emotional intelligence in
Human Resource. The people with high emotional intelligence performs superior compared to
the people with low emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is also a deciding factor for
hiring and managing potential employees. I could also learn actual meaning of the term
emotional intelligence which means the balance between the rational and emotional part of the
brain. However, to have a balanced emotional intelligence few key factors are important, such
as: - know your emotion, manage your emotion, recognize & know other’s emotion, manage the
emotion of others and motivate yourself. I also learned regarding the tools of self-awareness,
self-management, self-motivation, social awareness. I also learned regarding social relationship
skill and how to improve them.
