1)Achieve

Definition: to succeed in doing something difficult.

Sentence: Not everyone has the dedication and the talent to achieve his goal.

2)Approach

Definition: a particular way of thinking about or dealing with something.

Sentence: You need to be more flexible and imaginative in your approach.

3)Unique

Definition: very special, unusual, or good.

Sentence: Uniques qualities and skills make a person special.

4)Discern

Definition: to notice something, especially after thinking about
it carefully or studying it.

Sentence: Most of the times is hard to discern the differences between twins.

5)Trait

Definition: a particular quality in someone’s character.

Sentence: Eating Pollo a la brasa is a peruvian trait.

UNIT 5

1)Vigorous

Definition: full of energy, enthusiasm, or determination.

Sentence: There has been vigorous opposition to the proposals for a new road.

2)Utterly
Definition: completely

Sentence: It is utterly imperative to send the homework in the indicated date.

3)Radically

Definition: if something changes radically, it changes completely or in a way that is

very noticeable.

Sentence: They decided to try a radically different strategy to beat their enemies.

4)Worrisome

Definition: causing you to feel worried.

Sentence: We all are worrisome about the final exam, it would decide our futures.

5)Impetuous

Definition: someone who is impetuous does things quickly without thinking about

what will happen as a result.

Sentence: If you weren't so impetuous you wouldn't have lost your job.

UNIT 6

1)Passion

Definition: a powerful emotion such as love or anger.

Sentence: Nothing great in the world has been achieved without passion.

2)Proposal

Definition: a plan or suggestion, especially a formal one that a group has

to consider.

Sentence: The peruvian president approved a proposal for a referendum.

3)Donate

Definition: to give something such as money or goods to

an organization, especially to a school, hospital, political party, or charity.

Sentence: Every christmas people donate goods and food for the needys.
4)Resentful

Definition: feeling angry and unhappy because you think you have

been treated unfairly or without enough respect.

Sentence: It is very hard not to feel resentful when you do something nice for
someone who doesn’t appreciate it.

5)Thrilled

Definition: very pleased and excited.

Sentence: We were thrilled to hear what you had to say, but at the end it wasn’t so
important.
