Purpose

Look back at your first Time to Reflect and think about how much you still agree with your
initial expectations

Skills: The purpose of this assignment is to help you practice the following skills that are
essential to your success in this course and in professional life beyond school:

 Practice self-assessment
 Write a thoughtful response
 Use MLA style format

Knowledge: This assignment will also help you to become familiar with the following important
content knowledge in this discipline:

 Reflective thinking

Task

Your task for this assignment is to go back and re-read your response to “Time to Reflect One”
and to write one or two paragraphs that answer the following questions:

 Do you still agree with what you wrote about your expectations in the course?
 Did your strengths help you in the ways that you initially thought they would in the class?
 How did your expectations match up with the reality of this course?
 What parts of this exercise can you use in writing your self-assessment or reflective
elements in your eportfolio?

Once you are finished with this brief, informal piece, give it a title, name the document, and store
it in a folder on your computer, a flash drive, or in your student One Drive account where you
can find it.

Remember to use MLA format:

 Double space the entire document


 Use Times New Roman 12 point font
 Put your name, your instructor’s name, the course name, and date in the upper left
 Add page numbers with your last name in the header in the upper right corner
 Center the title of your reflection

Criteria for Success:


 Your reflection is one or two paragraphs long
 Your reflection thoughtfully answers the questions
 Your reflection has a meaningful title
 Your reflection is in correct MLA format
