Back in my Senior High School days, I have never imagined myself studying in

one of the prestigious universities in the country. Aside from the fact that I am living in
the province too far from Manila, the tuition fee is quiet expensive. But thank God
opportunity came! I was given the chance to study in one of the UAAP schools for free.
All I have to do is choose one university. FEU was one of my top three and after several
weeks of deciding which school would be best for me, I ended up choosing FEU.
The very first time that I enter the University, the feeling of belongingness
welcomes me, and it is where I told myself “I made the right choice”. Wherever I laid my
eyes, a curve on my lips beams. I was very happy being in that place. The joy that I’m
feeling was really different and from that moment, I felt that I was really destined to be
one of the Tamaraws.
Fast-forward, after a year in this university, I was very happy that I had chosen
FEU. It made my first year in college very memorable. It is in this university where I
meet my first friends in Manila, and college life wouldn’t be fun without them. It is in this
university where I experience my first downfall as a college student and also it is where I
learned how to really persevere. It is in this university where I laugh, cry, fail and
succeed. It is in this university where my first year in college happens. FEU has been a
witness of my journey this wouldn’t be as memorable as it is if it’s not in FEU.
Other reasons why I kept telling that I made the right choice of choosing FEU is
its education system. Most of the professors are highly trained professionals and very
effective in educating us. They made me love the career that I wanna pursue even
more. And I know that with every piece of information that I could learn from them will
help me develop myself, mold me into a well-rounded person and a responsible citizen
of this country. I believe that the education that I gained in FEU will help me achieve
greater heights and transform myself into its best version. With everything that I will
learn in FEU academically or not, I know it would help me achieve every dreams that I
have.
Probably, five years from now, I would be one of the very proud student of Far
Eastern University. I would be that person showing every corner of the world that I was
ones a Tamaraw and will always be a tamaraw no matter life will take me. I don’t think I
will regret that I had chosen this university because from the moment that I had stepped
in, I know that I belong in FEU. FEU has been my home, and this is where I truly
belong.
