Leadership
Michigan Tech Gardener
Being the senior gardener, I work directly with my boss and act as a liaison with my
fellow student gardeners. My duties switch to solo work in the fall and winter months,
helping my boss to plan projects for the upcoming spring and working on anything that
can be completed in advance.

Michigan Tech Garden Intern

Spearheading an initiative to get Michigan Tech recognized as a Tree Campus,
which will bring funds and expertise pertaining to tree care. It is a way to ensure our
trees are as healthy as they can be and that we are using sustainable practices that
will benefit our campus community now and into the future.

Magnuson Hotel Content Creation

During my down time at the front desk, I taught my boss the communication strategies I
was learning in my classes at the time. It involved public outreach efforts, advertising for
events hosted in the hotel, and converting paper documentation to an online platform for
security purposes. I undertook these additional responsibilities to gain experience in the
field of communication.
