What Do I Need To Do To Become A Soldier in The Ministry of National Defense?
Regardless of the category of personnel or the type of vocational training program / military
education institution or unit chosen, three steps must be taken:
1. Recruitment - preparation of the candidate file, verification of compliance with the
recruitment criteria and medical visit.
2. Aptitude selection - passing psychological, sports and evaluation interviews, and for
certain weapons / military specialties, taking additional medical and / or psychological
tests.
3. Admission - competition / examination based on general and / or specialized knowledge,
except for employment in the positions of soldier / professional graduate, in which case,
the entrance exam is replaced by the computerized distribution of candidates, in the
positions they opted for, on based on a score calculated according to certain professional
and administrative criteria, during the stages of recruitment and selection.
If you want to be :
an officer you need to start by graduating from a military higher education institution
(military academies): maximum 30 years (24 years for aviation - navigators) turned in the
year of organizing the admission contest; high school graduate with a baccalaureate
degree;
a military foreman you need to start by graduating from a post-secondary military
education institution: maximum 30 years old in the year of organizing the admission
contest; high school graduate with a baccalaureate degree;
