These days our group are doing some volunteer work in the laundry room of our dormitory. I

was the executer of the project, and I also took part in organizing. Our group has 5 members

so it was hard to get everyone at work at every time, but we tried our best to work together so

I felt very happy working with the group members.

To my surprise, the room was super messy every day and was time-consuming to clean it up.

It was not difficult to put away one basket of clothes, but once everyone refuses to put away

their own clothes, the laundry room will become very difficult to tidy up. It is important for

us to take response of our own things, and only in this way can the laundry room keep clean

and tidy for long. I learned the importance of managing personal objects and keeping the

public area clean during this activity.

If we’re doing this work again, I would like to write some notices and stick them on the

washing machines to mention the users, in this way our work may be a little easier and more

efficient. I think our work may affect those who saw us working and inspire their awareness

of managing their personal objects.
