i. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that Science and technology is
similar

ii. However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize that science and
technology is not the same.

iii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that Science could be easily be
influenced by scientist However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now
think/realize The obligation of scientists is to make public both any social implications of
their work and its technological applications

iv. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that Science is only based on
computations and inventions However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now
think/realize that it is deeply embedded in our culture, particularly in literature, yet science
provides the best way of understanding the world.
