The document discusses a student's photo appropriation project where they recreated famous landscape paintings by replacing the original artist with themselves. The student appropriated Paul Cezanne's "Mont Sainte-Victoire" from 1895 and Claude Monet's "Impression, Sunrise" from 1872, replacing the artists with themselves but keeping the original titles and years. The student explains that their appropriations aim to appreciate nature's beauty in both their country and Earth, and depict how light can look similar at different times of day.

• Artist: Claude Monet • Artist: Shem Capulong • Year: 1872 • Year: 2018 Brief Explanation • From the first part of my appropriation, it purely depicts about the beauty of our nature not only in our country but also to our Mother Earth. Appreciating nature with the use of art is really valuable enough because appreciating nature is like appreciating the miracles of God Himself. While on the latter part of my appropriation, it also somehow depicts about nature but this time it is all about the light identical even the two lights look almost similar to each other but they are different in time.
