- Open meet and greet students as they come into the meet, as they enter

- Remind students of Optional tutorial on Tuesday- we will be due Thursday

- Briefly go over ideas for answers to Alma: Specifically talk about


symbolism in Alma (i.e. the eyes, doll, monster outline of the store)
and how it creates a mood. Also discuss who the students think the
antagonist is and WHY.

- Go through figurative language jeopardy with the students. Remind


them that they should have looked over the posted PowerPoint before
coming to class.

- Reminders/instructions
11:00 - Every student has their names written on a popsicle stick (it is time as
ish I only hear from specific people during class!). IF your name gets
called on a popsicle stick (might not get to everyone today) then your
role is to pick a category and a price amount. ANYONE can answer
the question when it is asked. The popsicle stick just to have someone
pick the category and price.
- If you get it wrong- that it totally okay! This is why we practice.
- Feel free to have the PowerPoint up as we play.
- Never put in the chat something like “that was so easy” or “it is so
obvious” because it may be easy or obvious to you, but it might not be
to another student! We are all learning 

- Remind students AGAIN of Optional tutorial on Tuesday- we will be


reviewing more figurative language! One last reminder of due dates
11:25 this week.

- Any last questions?

- Class officially done. Have students put the word of the figurative
11:30 language device that they like the most.
