B. ACTIVATING PRIOR KNOWLEDGE


I. Drill
“Class, who among of you has the ideas about this

Okay so everyone is familiar with this game, now I will


present some pictures and give the correct answer to
what is being present in the pictures

Okay let start, first picture “Yes Ma’am”

about time.

C. LESSON DEVELOPMENT
I. Motivation Activity
So our topic today is all about Measure of Time, where
in time define as a measure in which events can be
ordered from the past through the present into the future,
and also the measures of durations of events and the
intervals between them. Yes Ma’am

II. Analysis
(Present pictures)
In this picture we can measure time in seconds, minutes,
hours, days, weeks, fortnights, months, seasons, years,
decades, centuries and millennia. You need to
understand these units of measurement and know when
to use which one.
“No Ma’am”
Do you know how to convert time?

Okay first let me show you this

So in here class it clearly states that a Second is equal to


1000 milliseconds, then a minute is equal to 60 seconds,
then an a hour is equivalent to 60 minutes, then in a day
it consist of 24 hours, while in a week it consist 7 days
(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday). Then in a month it has 4 weeks
and lastly in a year it consist of 12 months or 365 days
when it is converted into days.

Convert the following measure into another unit
1.15days=______hours
15 days 24 hours
× =360hours
